Terms & EULA

Free proprietary software, published by Giorgi Sanikidze in Georgia.

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Agreement and eligibility

This End User License Agreement (EULA) is between you and Giorgi Sanikidze (the “Publisher”), Georgia, the publisher of ThreadRig. ThreadRig is free, proprietary, closed-source software. By downloading, installing or using ThreadRig, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not download, install or use it.

You must be at least 18 years old to use ThreadRig. If you use it for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept this EULA on its behalf.

License grant

Subject to this EULA, the Publisher grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ThreadRig without charge on Apple devices (Mac and iPhone) you own or control, for personal or commercial purposes. This license covers both the ThreadRig Mac app and the ThreadRig iPhone app. You may make a backup copy for your own use. The software is licensed, not sold; the Publisher retains all rights not expressly granted. This license does not grant rights in your code or projects to the Publisher. If you obtained ThreadRig from the Apple App Store, the minimum terms of Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also apply to that copy.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise provide copies of ThreadRig to others without prior written permission from the Publisher. You may share a link to the official download page. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive its source code, modify the software or remove proprietary notices, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction. These restrictions do not limit rights granted by the separate licenses of third-party components.

Notice to Users

ThreadRig is a local interface for AI developer tools you install and sign in to yourself: Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI. ThreadRig does not sell, resell, proxy or intermediate those AI services. You use your own provider accounts through your own installed CLIs. Each provider’s terms, privacy policies, age requirements and charges apply independently.

AI output and generated code may be incorrect, insecure or unsuitable. Review changes before running or shipping them. Agents can run commands in your local terminal and repositories, change or delete files and contact external services. You are responsible for the permissions you grant, the actions you authorize and the use of the resulting output. Keep backups of important work.

Google may use prompts, responses and related code from Gemini free-tier services to improve products and train models, depending on your authentication method, region and data-sharing settings. Check the applicable Gemini terms and privacy notices before submitting confidential information.

ThreadRig sends no telemetry by default. Optional usage sharing and push notifications require you to enable them. AI providers and tools you configure have their own data practices. See the Privacy page for network requests and data handling. The software is provided “as is”, without warranty.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ThreadRig is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Publisher does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, security, accuracy of AI output or compatibility with any provider. Updates, support and continued availability are not guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, business or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use ThreadRig, even if advised of the possibility. Its total aggregate liability under this EULA will not exceed GEL 100.

Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Termination

You may terminate this EULA at any time by stopping use and deleting your copies of ThreadRig. The Publisher may terminate your license if you materially breach this EULA, subject to any notice or opportunity to cure required by law. On termination, stop using ThreadRig and delete all copies in your possession or control. Ownership, warranty disclaimers, liability limitations and governing-law provisions survive termination to the extent applicable.

Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Georgia (the country), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law that applies to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

The Publisher may revise this EULA for future releases. Revisions will be published here with an updated date and made available before you accept an updated version. Material changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or consent required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, do not install or use the updated version.

Acknowledgements

ThreadRig includes third-party components governed by their own licenses. Those licenses control your rights to those components and are not replaced by this EULA. See Acknowledgements for SwiftTerm, the DesignRuntime libraries and the website fonts, including copyright notices and license texts.
